Prioritizing Your Time To Work Out

I’ve heard it time and time again – “I don’t have time to work out.” “I was too busy today so I’ll work out tomorrow.” We don’t realize how much time we have in a day or even a week so I’ll break it down for you!

We have 24 hours in a day. A 1 hour workout is 4% of your day. A 30 minute workout is 2% of your day! Even if you can only get 10-20 minutes in everyday, it still adds up!

As for how much time we have in a week, we have 168 hours in a week. Here’s a breakdown of how much time working out really takes up in your week:

  • 1 hour of working out = .59% of your week
  • 2 hours of working out = 1.19% of your week
  • 3 hours of working out = 1.78% of your week
  • 4 hours of working out = 2.38% of your week
  • 5 hours of working out = 2.97% of your week
  • 6 hours of working out = 3.57% of your week

After breaking it down, I realized working out doesn’t take up as much time as we thought! I understand we all have our busy days or weeks, but we can all make time to get a workout in, even if it’s a quick walk around the block!
