Back To School, Back To Your Routine!

Summer break is officially over, and school is back in session! As much as I love summer, sometimes it can be challenging keeping up with your fitness routine amongst all the summer activities and vacations. Here are some tips to get you back into the swing of things this fall!

  1. Start small – Even 10, 15, or 20 minutes of activity can add up.
  2. Be prepared – Meal prep or pack your gym bag the night before
  3. Schedule your workouts like appointments – Treat your workouts like important meetings. You’re not going to cancel this meeting!
  4. Keep workouts simple and consistent – You don’t need to recreate or reinvent your entire routine. Start with 2 days a week with an activity you know you enjoy doing and then go from there!
  5. Focus on how you want to feel – Working out can help you feel happier, more confident, and more energized!
  6. Show yourself grace – We’re human. We make mistakes. If you get off track just ease yourself back into it!

Getting back into a routine doesn’t need to be complicated. Start small and gradually build on it! It’s about establishing a foundation and setting yourself up for success!
