How to Reignite Your Fitness Goals

I can’t believe we’re in June and halfway through 2025! Where has the time gone?! How have the past 6 months been treating you? If you’ve crushed your goals so far this year—amazing. If not, you’re not alone. The good news? You’ve got six fresh months ahead of you. I like using this time to reflect on my progress and make any adjustments to my habits!

1. Revisit & Revise Your Goals

  • Are your goals still relevant to your current lifestyle, energy, or priorities?
  • Were they too vague or too ambitious?

✅ Tip: Change “lose weight” to “walk 8,000 steps daily” or “lift weights 3x/week.” Be sure to make the goals more specific and “bite-size” so you set yourself up for success!

2. Reflect on What Worked and What Didn’t

  • What did you do well on?
  • What needs improvement?
  • When were they most consistent?
  • What derailed them—travel, stress, overtraining?

3. Set a Fresh 4-Week Focus

Are the steps you’re taking doable? Instead of tackling everything, choose one small action. Every small step adds to the bigger picture!

  • Build one daily habit.
  • Improve one aspect of nutrition.
  • Commit to movement 2-3x/week.

  • No snooze button
  • Drink a glass of water upon waking
  • Protein with every meal
  • Add a handful of vegetables in one meal
  • Walk 6k-10K steps daily challenge
  • Sleep 15 minutes earlier

4. Find New Accountability

Sometimes accountability is the most challenging part in achieving our goals. Here are some ideas to keep you more accountable!

  • Joining a group challenge
  • Having a friend join you on your workout
  • Hiring a coach (AKA me!)
  • Signing up for a class
  • Tracking workouts again
  • Sharing weekly updates on social

5. Make Fitness Fun Again

  • Try a new class, outdoor activity, or program.
  • Try a new equipment or machine.
  • Have a friend join you in your workouts.
  • Check out a different gym or studio.
  • Switch your playlist, gear, or workout location.
  • Celebrate small wins—new PRs, better sleep, more energy.
