In honor of spring, I invite you to not only spring clean your closet, but also see where else you can remove clutter or bring in newness. I’m sure you have old expired food in your fridge or pantry or old workout clothes that need to be thrown away. Let’s do some spring cleaning in these areas of your life so you can be healthy and fit and feel great!
- It’s easy to forget food items in your fridge or pantry only for it to expire. While cleaning and decluttering your home, remember to check your fridge and pantry! Throw out any expired food. You may be even surprised to find ingredients or spices you haven’t used in a while. Incorporate those into your meals or give them to someone who would love to use it in their cooking!
- Workout clothes are falling apart? Throw them out or repurpose them. Workout clothes you haven’t worn in forever or don’t want to wear anymore? Donate them! These clothes are taking up space in your closet. It’s time to get some new workout clothes! You deserve to feel good and look good when you’re working out!
- Physically clean your space. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum. Clean all parts of your home to remove dust and dirt that can also contribute to allergies. You’ll also feel better and breathe better too.
- Switch out your winter clothes for spring clothes. It’s starting to warm up now so you can switch out your thick jackets for lighter jackets, long sleeves for t-shirts, and maybe even leggings for shorts!
- Spice up your workout routine – Been doing the same workouts for a while? Change them up! Change the exercises, days you work out, or even where you work out! Take advantage of the warmer weather and longer days by working out outside!
- Get creative in the kitchen – Try new recipes that incorporate seasonal produce. Swap soup for salad. It’s getting warmer so a salad is perfect.
