Mood Boosters

We all have good days and bad days. Some days we’re energized and ready to take on the day, while other days, we just want to lie in bed and do nothing. It’s normal to be have low energy or be in a bad mood sometimes. Here are some things you can do to boost your mood and show yourself a little extra TLC!

  1. Get outside – get some fresh air, sit in the sun, or go for a walk
  2. Drink some water
  3. Make a to do list
  4. Do the simplest thing on your to do list
  5. Some light cleaning or decluttering, it can be something simple
  6. Take a shower or bath, water is cleansing
  7. Put on that perfume or cologne you’ haven’t been holding off on using
  8. Light a candle – make your space a cozy and fun environment
  9. Talk or hang out with a friend or loved one
  10. Work out or stretch
  11. Foam roll – maybe you have some tension in your shoulders you can relieve with a foam roller or lacrosse ball
  12. Write 3 things you’re grateful for
  13. Take a quick nap (and make sure you’re getting enough sleep at night)
  14. Meditate – it can even be an easy and short breathing exercise
  15. Spend time with your pet
  16. Listen to your favorite music or put on a motivating playlist
  17. Listen, recite, or write some affirmations – affirm your amazingness!
  18. Make some tea or add some lemon to your water
  19. Make sure you’re eating – sometimes when I’m hungry I get hangry. Be sure you’re eating well rounded meals.
  20. Do one thing you’ve been procrastinating on, again keep it simple
