Life has been treating me well, and I wanted to take the time to reflect on this past year.
May 2023, I turned 30 years old. I remember putting so much pressure on myself because I thought I would’ve accomplished more by the time I turned 30. I wasn’t happy with where I was working, and I felt like I was ready for more in my career. I also wasn’t making as much money as I wanted to, and I was being really hard on myself. I think society puts so much pressure about reaching certain ages and milestones, that we don’t even realize we’ve accomplished so much.
Fast forward to now, and things have changed for the better! I decided to go into private training and left Equinox last October. I had been with the company for almost 7 years and worked in both the Northern and Southern California regions. I learned and grew as much as I could, and I knew it was time to spread my wings and fly! It’s been a terrifying yet thrilling experience. On my first day of private training, I was nervous but also felt tremendous relief. I was now my own boss and had the freedom to run my business however I wanted! I definitely had some moments of doubt, but I kept going, and I continue to reap the rewards.
I’m so grateful I took that leap of faith! I’m living my dream, and I’m beyond proud of myself. I have to pinch myself sometimes to remind myself it’s real. This past year has taught me: never give up, keep a positive mindset, and lighten up (we don’t have to always be so serious lol). I’ve also trusted myself and the timing of my life more. I know everything happens and will happen at the right time! I also appreciate and honor everything I’ve accomplished because I realize now I’ve accomplished more than I think. I’m eager to continue growing and experiencing new things in my 31st year of life. Here’s to more abundance and adventures!
