Self-love is self-care!

Sometimes we’re so busy with everything happening in our lives that we forget to show ourselves love. Self-love is a form of self-care! We’re so quick to put ourselves on the back burner when we should make ourselves a priority. At the end of the day, the most important relationship you’ll ever have is the one with yourself!

Here are some ways to make yourself a priority:

  1. Spend time doing something you love
  2. Say no to plans if it cuts into your own personal time or if you just don’t want to go (no more people pleasing!)
  3. Delegate work or other activities so you have more time for yourself
  4. Get a workout, walk, or stretch in – You deserve to take care of your body
  5. Make time for rest – This could be a nap or meditating
  6. Eat nutritious food
  7. Drink an extra glass of water
  8. Do one thing for yourself each day – Even the smallest thing counts
  9. Do something on your bucket list
  10. Book a massage or have a spa day
  11. Have a solo date – Try out that new cafe or restaurant you’ve been wanting to try
  12. Cut out any distractions (phone, computer, etc) and spend time alone
  13. Try a new hobby
  14. Reflect and appreciate all your wins – You’re doing so much better than you think!

Self-love is so important, and I want everyone to show love and compassion towards themselves. We do so much for others, but we need to remind ourselves that we need to take care of ourselves too!
