I am a huge fan of writing and repeating affirmations to myself! Affirmations are statements that affirm who you are, what you are worthy of, or what you are wishing to receive. In the beginning, it may feel foreign and strange to write and say these affirmations. You may not believe them initially or think they are effective in boosting self-esteem, but over time they lift our confidence and spirits. You eventually become what you say to yourself. You can even manifest what you want. Here are some statements to start with, and I’ll throw in a few of my own personal affirmations:
I am worthy of love. I am worthy of success. I am worthy of.. (fill in the blank – there are so many options here)
I love how compassionate I am towards others. (Again you can name all the things you love about yourself.)
Abundance is all around me like air.
My business is booming!
I am open to receiving love!
I love my life!
The list goes on and on. I repeat these when I first wake up and before I go to bed. Sometimes if I’m in a bad mood or need a pick me up, I’ll read them as well. I routinely change them up every month or so. It’s about getting excited and truly believing these statements because this is really who you are, and it’s time to believe it!
