Why we should stretch + my stretch videos

We’re so good with our workouts, but when it comes to stretching, it’s something we rush or don’t do at all. In my training sessions with clients, we prioritize dynamic stretches in our warm up so we can be ready for our workout. We then end with static stretches to help “cooldown,” bring our heart rate back down to resting, and improve flexibility. Stretching can help improve flexibility and mobility, prevent injuries, help us move better in our workouts and daily life, help us relax, improve circulation, and even improve posture! Choose some stretches for your arms, back, and legs, and hold for at least 30-60 seconds. Stretching will feel uncomfortable, but it should never be painful. Start small and gradually increase the time. If you’re unable to do the full stretch, you can modify it so you still feel the stretch without compensating.
